best scrub color

Only if I can look as "cool" as he does.
black or dark blue scrubs are awesome. you'll see that once you start med school everyone in your class will have light blue scrubs, a couple of us showed up to anatomy is black scrubs and really stood out. most people were like, "wow, those are hot, where'd you get them?" but one person did say I looked like an executioner.
if you go with blue, go with dark blue. 😎

White scrubs = awful idea

Unless they're being worn by a hot female nurse.
Then I would prefer a white bustiere (sp?)
Black is terrible. Blues and greens are good - patients seem to expect those colors.
People with extrordinarily outgoing personalities do well with bright colors.
Darker is better IMO - so when you start sweating your ass off in a patient's room (kept at 85F) it's harder to see the sweat... 😉

blue rules..damn the rest, go blue!
Green is, visually, the opposite of red, the color of blood. IIRC the surgeon who pioneered the idea of green drapes over the patient (and later in clothing worn in the OR), believed it was most restful on the eyes in the OR.

I volunteer in the Surgical unit waiting room of the VA.....and the doctors at the surgical unit where Purple scrubs.
Its kinda weird cuz I've always seen light blue, dark blue, or light or dark green as the colors of scrubes elsewhere.
Also, I've seen burgandy scrubs at some places too.
I like darker colors better too. They suit my skin more. I'm not sure about the idea of black, but dark blue or dark green is ok.

OR Suites are typically kept at cooler temperatures, so nobody sweats during the surgery, infection, etc..
Darker colors would be warmer, right? Or is that just out in the sun? (Black absorbs heat, white reflects it, etc...)
The student nurses at my hospital wear pink scrubs. Somehow it works.
I believe that one of the trauma units in Baltimore wears pink scrubs as well.

Yah but nurses and doctors are a whole different ball game. The nurses where I volunteer where white scrubs with flowers. But of course, they are all female. Don't know what the male nurses where.
Nurses often where nonsolid colored scrubs. Mostly things with flowers or teddy bears, cartoon looking things, if they are in a pediatric hospital. If they are not in pediatrics, they often where things that are not with children's cartoon characters, but which have flowers.
At least this has been my observation of my area.
Not to say that I haven't seen nurses with solid colors, because I have. But mostly, they where a solid bottom and a top which is not completely solid in color.

PINK, baby. Pink!
And yeah I'm male.... but theyre the only color scrubs I've ever worn.
and to answer your other question, I'm strait too.
Yup, that's the University of MD Shock Trauma Center. I volunteer there. According to reader's digest, its the greatest ER in the country.

I'd admit you were the hotness if you:
1) wore pink scrubs
2) spiced it up with capri pants

oh MAN i hope so! 😉 i'm sure they are tho-- they always show him working out or doing TKD when he's not working.
can you tell that i love that show? 😀
Def Dark Blue, though while I've been at NYU Medical this summer I've seen quite a few doctors wearing multicolord scrubs. Half of the top piece would be the typical scrub blue, the other green, the pants were also half and half. Essentially they looked like checker boards, except not black and white heh.
Blue, baby, blue!

Yeah, the topic doesn't really mention med school scrubs but the OP does in the body. I just wanted to mention how incredibly good looking solid pink scrubs can be even if scrubs aren't exactly the most flattering article of clothing.

Personally, the cutest looking color for girly scrubs was a pastel purple pair of scrubs my predental friend had for her job at a local dentists office.
But the weirdest color I ever saw was peach scrubs.
I prefer blues or greens. For girls like me, pastel colors. But for men, definitely stick with the traditional colors or those purple ones they have at the VA. Maybe the fuschia won't be that bad, but I'd rather have blues or greens on guys.
