One of the schools I had designated on my AMCAS application was Univ. or Mass. I did not realize that only residents of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts are eligible to apply there. I received an e-mail from them telling me that since I do not meet the criteria, they are unable to consider me. Can I get my money back from AMCAS? My application has been processed. Good thing I didn't send my secondary application before I got their e-mail. If anyone knows how I can be refunded, please let me know. Thanks.

I'm sorry, but no you can not get a refund. The AMCAS fee was for them to get your information to the school, which they did (even if it took forever.) So they fulfilled their services for the fee Therefore NO refund...

You most likely won't get a refund. It is up to you as the applicant to do your research on the schools on issues like residency requirements, etc., before you apply.
