Bio Q Vault

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My Qvault scores (started doing about a test every 3 days or so 3 weeks before test day) were something like: 17, 17, 18, 21, 20, 19, 20. Moral of the story, I averaged about a 20. On the real deal made a 22 on bio. You have to keep in mind I did tons with cliffs and barrons, and did the destroyer bio questions at least twice so it wasn't all qvault. But I was very impressed with the program and thought that out of all the resources I used, it best replicated the feel of DAT bio questions and that the scores were a decent predictor of my success.

Good luck!

Hi, just tried the Qvault bio benchmark test and got a 16. It seemed a bit easier than my Kaplan Prep Course bio tests/quizzes. How similar is Qvault questions to DAT? Are there lots of development and genetics questions? Those are my weakest parts.

Thanks! 🙂

dentalchick, I think some of the development questions in that program are somewhat random. but the mnemonic germs spin in grandma lucy's corn soup is very helpful for memorizing the layers of the skin cell.

I averaged 18 on DATqVault and got a 20 on the real thing, so pretty good indicator. Biology, you just got to strengthen your weak subjects and hope the test has the questions you know very well.

I've been getting a 20-21 on the Q-vault. Is this pretty close to the real thing, score wise?
I scored from 18-22 on q-vault average being about 19ish and I got a 22 on bio. So I think you're good to go for the real DAT. But, not a single qvault-esque question showed up on the real DAT for me so if I didn't do any questions my score would probably be the same.

I would say datQvault was the most accurate depiction of my performance on the real DAT. I averaged a 23 on datQvault and that's exactly what I got on both US and Canadian DAT. Although, I think the real DAT was a bit easier than datQvault.
