Hello, So I just completed the bio SA and scored a 78%. Is this a good score? I want to score around 11 or 12 on real deal. I felt comfortable on all the material except for genetics. The genetics passages were toughest by far and I scored below the average. Approximately what does 78% equate to in terms of FL score? I converted it to the AAMC 11 scale and it comes out to just under an 11. However, this obviously doesnt take into account orgo. Also, what advice do you have for improving my genetics skills? thanks!!!

just took it myself last night and got a 77% --> .77 x 52 = 40 questions correct out of 52 (i realize the actual exam isn't all bio, but haven't taken the orgo part yet), which equates to a 10 based on most of the e-mcat aamc fl's scales. consider this hits all the possible bio sections, and the actual exam doesn't, i'm happy with my score. i realize that if i get passages that play on my strength i'd do better than that and if i get ones that prey on my weaknesses i'd do lower, but knowing what to improve on is huge. hoping for an 11/12 on the actual exam myself (i consider myself stronger in orgo than bio), and i have a month to improve the sections i'm not as strong in as compared to the ones i have down better. also, having seen the actual exam format as compared to the BR passages (which i think are way harder) and EK passages (which test more specifics in the chapter they pertain to), i feel very comfortable with the actual exam passage difficulty. doing my 1st fl tomorrow so guess we'll see how much any of that translates to actual scores...
