I've been studying for two weeks now. My problem is that after I read a section I feel confident, but when I think about it a day or two later I'm not too sure of what I learned. I guess my question is how did you guys study for the bio section. I'm reading cliffs and kbb at the same time. I'm wondering if I should just go with one book at a time? Or if I should read the sections of both multiple times per day instead of slowing down and trying to memorize it. If anyone could offer some advice it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like a lack of application and consistency.

Think about the stuff you read, like talk to yourself about what this one definition is, or what does this thing do, etc and visualize it. Reading 1 section and moving on isn't enough to fully retain something, and trust me I have yet to meet a person who can read an entire supplement and remember majority of details after the 1st read.

Read a section, maybe reread that same section fast later on in the day, make notes on a separate paper or in the margins of your book, etc. Maybe you're the type to make note cards and flip through em.

The simplest advice I can give you is be consistent with your reading. Besides, rereading something over and over again gets easier and easier after each consecutive trip. Goodluck

That seems to make sense. I don't usually study like this but I'm just freaking out cause there's so much to relearn.
