I was just wondering, if such a class, that is, Biochemistry lab, was part of the necessary criteria for Medical School applications. I'm taking it now and its terrible, just looking for a way out if it's not necessary.
thanks,
Scott

As long as you have otherwise met the minimum bio requirements for most schools (1 year plus lab), then I wouldn't worry about it. A few schools do require biochem, but I don't think that includes the lab component.

AHHHHH, ssherr, don't do it!!!!!! Unless you really love biochem, that is...or if you're thinking of working in industry at some point. But there is absolutely NO need for biochem lab. I do recommend taking some biochem though, even if the schools you're interested in don't require it.
