Hey all,
quick question- would Biochem in the fall of Senior year followed by mcat in spring of senior year be a bad idea? I would take a prep course in the spring and frontload so that I would have a cake schedule in the spring, to essentially focus on the MCAT. good idea or bad idea? also should I start reviewing in the fall as well?

I did this. I would argue that it was actually really helpful because biochem was super fresh, and is arguably the foundation of a lot of the MCAT passages.
I studied lightly in the fall (aka a few hours a week) and then on a strict schedule from January to my test in April.

I self studied the biochemistry portion of the MCAT using both Princeton and Kaplan books. My score turned out fine! So I can imagine that if you take a course you'd put yourself in an even better position!
