anyone have any good articles or resources to read up on bioethics and medical ethics at a time like this? particularly how to decide between two patients if you only have on ventilator?
There is literature on access to hemodialysis in Seattle in the 1960s. The machines were in short supply due to very limited reimbursement for treatment so a "God Committee" was established. Dig around and see what you can find about what they did and how they did it.

Those are great, thanks! They mention the Seattle hemodialysis case in the UW Resource Allocation page. I found the futility page also very interesting.
