Biostat & Biomath? Which category are they in?

I got confusion in categorizing some classes that I took before. These are:

1. Biostatistics (offered from separate biostat department - neither from bio department nor from stat department - but the professor was more like a statistian rather than a biologist.)

2. Biomath (offered by separate biomath department - neither from bio nor from math department - but the professor was a former medical professor +_+)
