Yeah. just was told by a clinic i work at that i would be seeing 1 extra patient per hour starting in 1 mo and nothing about if i would agree to that or i would be ok with it. Cant' wait to throw the middle finger sooner than later and get out of the clown show. in btc we trust.
You can blame medicare for that crap. And the affordable care act

Part of me wants to retire at 55, two fingers high.

no idea how far away 55 is for you but is that dependent on btc success so if it goes higher quicker could that be 50 yo for example?

Lets put it this way if bitcoin does what its supposed to, 2032 would be entirely possible. But i dont really want to retire that early…

VOO 5 year cagr is 16.6%. If btc only get this from current levels we are at 255 in 2030. Realistically this is 1% quintile price if it only did that end of 2030.

Nuttyness i tell you. To the point it feels fake and unreal. Your playing the investing game with game genie mode is whats happening.

an old whale market sold 80,000 BTC today (worth over $4 billion). market sold so not over the counter, regular exchange order books. and the price barely moved today. BTC now has institutional grade liquidity and shows how big the demand is that the market was able to absorb such a large single entity sell

Yup. Bitcoin was not on my radar at all, until one day my crazy cousin sat me down and was like, bro if you ever listened to me in your life, now is the time. Learn about bitcoin. Dont take my word for it, really learn about bitcoin. And I did and I was absolutely mind blown.

You know back when Ron Paul was running for president (when Obama was also running against McCain), I was a real fan. I even met the man face to face. He opened my eyes to the problem we were facing in the US with fiat currency. And I knew and could see the problem then, but I couldnt see the solution, aside from the suggestion of returning to a gold backed standard. We all knew that would probably never happen.

My roommate at the time- brilliant guy who has since had a full blown schizophrenic break, poor guy. He saw the answer in bitcoin. This was like 2009, 2010 somewhere in there. He tried so hard to convince me to buy bitcoin or to even mine it because it was so cheap to mine at the time. He even showed me the original white paper all the way back then. I thought he was nuts, even though I knew him to be one of the most brilliant people I’d ever met. He began mining and had several thousand bitcoins. I never got on board and forgot all about it until years later when it was already well on its way. Turns out even he got tired of waiting for it to gain traction and sold his bitcoins for essentially nothing.

We could have been billionaires today. I kick my own ass over that almost daily. That I didnt listen. But when my cousin came to me the second time and I did the deep diving, it became crystal clear where this is heading.

Yeah lets be honest better to hodl in the last 5 years and undestand it then potentially have 1000's that you sold at 500 bucks cuz u bought at 5 dollars saying well i 100x my money and u do the math and its 100 mill today. That would hurt.

Fair enough. In truth, I dont harbor much regret overall. Im still just fine. It just stings that it was so within reach at the time but I was just like these other fools on here, naysaying and what not. How stupid was I then. Just as stupid as anybody is now, not to get onboard.

That’s what the institutions see. Trade 24/7 whenever you’re in a cash crunch. BTC is more liquid than people think.

Crazy 24 hours later and the market is back to 118k like nothing happened.
