Epocrates is amazing, especially if you can get your school to pay for the extra clinical content. It has pathophys, treatment plans, diagnostic criteria even pathology pictures, if your school doesn't pay for it, its like $200 a year, which sucks. Medscape, skyscape and medref are almost as good for clinical content and they are free.DxSaurus is a good source for differentials. emedicine on call is really cool for treatment plans (even better for new interns). I also like netters anatomy, which is exactly what it sounds like. all of the netters flash cards on the phone. I really like imurmur, which teaches you all about the heart sounds.

I also use the usmle2 clinical content strategies app, which is also based on flash cards.

Hope this helps

its called usmle wiz 2. Really really good
Yup found it and I was able to extract the card database. I'm currently in the process of exporting the cards to an application like Mental Case because I don't like the way the actual flash cards work.

I typically do cards in sets of 5 and build it up to sets of 50. But I don't know how to do that with this app so I decided to just take the content and place it in a better flash card app

check out surgical pimpapalooza, i got it on my phone and I think its going to be really helpful for surgery

Has anyone tried the Clinician's Pocket Reference (the famous scut monkey handbook) app for the Iphone?

I really like Med Calc. It's got almost every formula I can think of. Epocrates is awesome of course, especially for interns wondering what dose to give.

The Facebook app is a must.

DynaMed is good if your school gives you a serial code. I also like the free Epocrates app. DynaMed is more like the extended Epocrates.

LEXI-COMP is also very handy, for heart sounds imurmur is freaking awesome
