Is the CPR for the Professional Rescuer offered by American redcross equals the American Heart Association BLS course? I need to be BLS certified before taking the ACLS but having a hard time finding a class except the Redcross one! Any idea! Thanks1

Try contacting the place you plan to take ACLS and ask them. They may also have suggestions of where to get AHA BLS if you want/need that. Also you may try the AHA website, where you can find a listing of your local training sites.

Call a hospital near you. They ususally run BLS for Healthcare providers very often cuz they have to recert people in the hospital. In my expereince anyone can sign up and it's ususally ~$30. Also BLS for Healthcare providers certs last for 2 years and Red Cross only for 1.
