I read an interesting post by KHE on the NBEO portion of our forum about Board Certification and how the US Senate is planning on mandating that ONLY Board Certified Practitioners be reimbursed by the ailing Medicare system (to reduce # of providers--reduce costs). It seems as if ARBO will be forced to mandate this. This is an important issue and if anyone has a comment ESPECIALLY experienced Doctors such as KHE, Hello 07, Caffeinated, Dr. Chundler, etc...that would be great. I am planning my future career path (ie finish OD school, do a residency, and then (Board Certification???????)........interesting
