Board Certification

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Sorry if this has already been asked -

What do boards consist of? For example, a written? practical? interview?

Thanks.

All of the above 🙂

you have your written national boards parts I,II, and III.
You have your professional board certification for the American board of Podiatric Surgery which requires you to have completed a certain amount of cases (hence the practical component). This board certification involves both written and oral exams.

Actually, let me further clarify what Podman had written. For the American Board of Podiatric Surgery board certification exam, one can take the written exam and the end of residency training. Only the oral portion of the board exam requires one to have completed a certain amount of cases.
