Board exam validity

Hey all,
I have completed both parts of the NDBE and i returned back to my home country. I am now thinking about the Residency programs in the States and i guess it requires that the applicant should at least have the grades of the first part..
My question is , for how long are my grades valid or do i have to take the tests again ?

I believe that is going to vary from school to school. The shortest duration I've come across is 18 months.
