I know this question has been asked, but I'm hearing conflicting things from various people and wanted to get clarification.
If your step 2 scores are released this early in the season, but after you submit your application, do you still need to contact the programs you applied to to let them know?
I've already done the re-transmit thing and my board scores were updated with my step 2. I'm assuming that's all I need to do. But a few people I've talked to insist you still need to contact programs so they're aware.
Can any of the PDs here confirm that you get the release and that it's put in our file even if we don't email/call? I'm hesitant to bug them about it and reveal my neurotic tendencies this early in the game.
