Boards Patients--Class 2 and class 3 lesion

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
The best way is to screen patients in the city ur taking the exam (either at ur dental school, or even ask local dentists to look for u). Another way is to contact one of these test prep companies. They charge an exorbent amount ~$7,000, but u have peace of mind; u just need to show up and take the exam. Let us know what exam ur taking and where and maybe somebody can point in the right direction. FYI i found my patient locally and drove him 4 hrs for the exam. I paid him and paid all his expenses; but still much cheaper than one of those services

Hi,there,

I am taking CRDTS license exam, and I am looking for class 2 and class 3 lesions.

If anybody has any advice, let me know please.

Thanks tons.

I actually placed an ad on craigslist inquiring for pts. and I received soo many responses. I had very specific questions and criteria for them so we wouldn't waste any time. Worked out great. Good luck!

What questions/criteria did you post for them?

Sorry, didn't see ur post.
I explained that I was looking for smaller cavities and a deep cleaning. I had a disclaimer that indicated that I wasn't going to be providing dentures, OS, partials, big fillings, etc etc. I also had a list of med hx ?s since i was careful to find someone who was somewhat healthy. I offered times to have them come to my school for screening and I screened in one day up to 10 ppl. I was very clear in the directions of what was going to happen (xrays, perio probing) and how long I was going to need them for. The successful pts then received another note explaining about the test, how long the test was (1/2 day) and compensation. Hope this is helpful. If I happen to find the actual screening note, I'll post it.
