BOLC for civilian physician going AD

Just found out I was accepted AD army, and pending scroll. i will be entering as a Captain. Do I have to do BOLC before actually starting my specific job as an army physician that I was selected for?

Yea. I heard the land nav course isn't self correcting anymore so good luck getting picked up by a pissed off sgt in a humvee.
