Just wanted to let you know that I received my acceptance today for Boston University. I look forward to meeting all of you during orientation. Does anyone have any advice about housing near the campus?

Thank you for the wishes everyone. Even I was surprised to know so late. I knew I was on the alternate list, but I was not expecting anything. I had everything ready for NYU, and even though I was very excited about going there, Boston is a more sensible choice, considering Finances, Time.

I have been reading this forum for the last two weeks.It is nice to see how great bonding you all were able to achieve among each other,plus, all the information and help related to all international dentist looking for an opportunity to work in the USA.
I saw that a new group of great proffesionals are going to be begining the ASP this next fall 2006.congratulations to all!

As for me, I am new, just begining to learn all the paths I have to fallow in order to reach my dreams.

Graduated on 1998, and have beeing practicing in my country for 6-7 years before I moved to the US.
Hope to make friends and begin a new bunch of NBDE I and II takers and so far.
Any advices will be very appreciated!!!! 😉

Hey prasad, I have the same GPA problem mine is the same as yours i even took about 11 units of anatomy phisiology and nutrition and i got GPa of about 3.4 now do you have any idea if this GPA is even going to be considered or not?
Right now i am preparing for national boards, Can you refer materials you used?
If you get in with this GPA than really hatts off for all of us having GPA problem.

I got a mail from BU saying that they have send me the acceptance letter even after I have declined my waitlist position long time ago. They have asked me to confirm if i have joined elsewhere not accepting the admission at BU.I have declined again. so one more position is open again.Those who r waitlisted dont lose hope,u might the next one to receive the acceptance letter!!! All the very best,Folks!!
