I'm a little worried. I have not gotten an interview yet, but if I had, I would be notified online so that I could use that "interview scheduler" right? If they want to confirm my mailing address, I think that my rejection letter is going to arrive there

That sounds about right I think. Because 1:36pm western time is 4:36pm eastern time, right? And I received it 4:46pm EST to be exact.

First round of acceptances don't go out until the 12th of Jan. Or so I remember the dean telling us. And I think the dean also said they were sending "letters" - which means snail mail?! I'm hoping they are confirming our numbers so that they call us on the 12th and tell us we're in!

I'm pretty sure I remember them saying we would hear back around the end of December. I interviewed October 15th. I could be mistaken though

The original BU email states that new information has been posted on MyApplication. I don't see any changes on my application, just the usual "Your application is complete" and dates of completion for various application elements. Do you see any changes?

I've been complete for close to two months as well. A friend of mine who was complete a week earlier than me has received the dreaded rejection email already. Maybe it's a hold (hence, snail mail address verification) or 😱 interview invitation.

I agree with Para Jan. 12th letters will go out in first wave but 70% will be in the second wave they will make dis. and prepare for Jan 12.

That confirms my initial feeling, that it was sent to everyone who has yet to interview, yet to be reviewed, and yet to be decided upon post-interview. I guess we should just take it at face-value.

"Our Committee on Admissions will review your application in the context of the overall applicant pool. In mid-January we will send a status update letter to each individual who has interviewed prior to that time, accepting a small number of candidates, declining some, and deferring a final decision on some.

We plan to complete our interviews by late February, and by mid-March we will send a second group of letters to all candidates who have completed the application process with us, including those who were deferred in the first round. In that second group of letters we will accept most of the entering class of 2008, invite a few individuals to take a spot on our waiting list, and inform others that we will be unable to offer an acceptance this year."
