I just spoke with BU admissions and they told me that my application has been reviewed, but they have not made a decision. Does anyone know what this means?

they told me that too. i thought it meant i was on hold, but i was a little unsure. a few weeks later i got a rejection letter. not saying that will happen to you b/c maybe it is a hold & they reviewed me later & rejected me. i dunno...

Is this post-interview? A lot of us on the boards are waiting for post-interview responses, especially since we were told we'd be hearing from them in late Dec/ early Jan.

i called admissions yesterday and the woman who answered said they hadn't made decisions yet...maybe would happen in the next week or so...

Did the lady ask you for your name when you called? How did she know that your file had been reviewed?
I called too, and all she said was that decisions would go out within the next two to three weeks.
I hope three won't be turned into three months. Who can wait three weels, anyways.

When exactly did you call and when did you receive the rejection letter if you don't mind me asking?

i called december 9th, and the rejection letter was postmarked dec 12. they hadn't made a decision my ass 😛

when i called georgetown mid-decemeber, they told me a decision would not be sent until after the holidays. i received an interview invite a few days later. some of these schools are smokin crack, so take what they tell you with a grain of salt.
