My concern with Touro is that the school is a pretty well-to-do area of Westchester. There aren't exactly a lot of indignant (Medicaid) patients who will be lining up for treatment. This could be an issue once you get into clinic, but since they only have D1's now, there's no track record.
We do have older facilities but they're well maintained and are being updated. We are also in the early stages of a total redo of the entire school. I'm not sure when it'll be ready but it's happening.
Cost is obviously a huge concern and neither BU nor Boston are cheap places to live. But I'm not sure how residency programs (GRP/AEGD for NY included) will look on the new school.
I like what I see about the two person teams, looks interesting. Let me know if you have any other questions about BU.
