Honestly, if Mel has indeed used the protection today, I can believe he's a villager. He's protected True and YK. Yeet protection seems super weird for the village, like, why would villagers need it; why would we need to agree together on whom it goes to, if we're not yeeting them anyway?

Anyway. If it was a wolf ability, why would a wolf waste that on True. It's such an important ability. We know for sure, that there was a friend with True that night. So, I don't know. Mel's reads haven't been the sketchiest, it's just stuff that Ive disagreed with (like Zenge and myself) and so I've found him wolfy.

edit: I only have a scattered few notes on my phone and I think they're all from D1 when I was at work and I saw "votes and lots of sketch about fluff" and "noise died down around fluff" around the time fluff picked up votes D1
I don't know where it ranks on the importance scale in relation to the grand scheme of the game, but he could have chose Blue (assuming that did indeed happen) to say he used it on a villagey person without actually having that person be alive and impossible to misyeet.
The claim has no bearing on my read of Mel though.

It makes sense for a wolf to target villagers with this sometimes. Then the villager can post on thread "someone yeet protected me today" and when the person who used that action is being question they can claim "why would I protect a villager if I'm a wolf?"
Similar to how Zenge took away his own vote.

Zenge took away his own vote in order pretend he was targetted by a wolf, why wouldn't he be above bussing his partner, especially if people were already wolfreading fluff?
I also appreciate the whiplash of alley saying puppy is my wolf partner to trying to convince my "wolf partner" that I'm pocketing her.
She has a tone about her when she’s wolfing. To be honest the only thing that scared me was Zenge’s lack of interaction with her and the fact she hasn’t been on a known wolf wagon, but she wouldn’t vote day 2.
I haven’t felt that tone here at all, but I did pick up on it in criminal minds when no one else did. I do not feel that here.
If you think Zenge is capable of deepwolfing, then why does it mean anything that he voted you D1?

I’m not sure alley sounds wolfy to me today but I’ve mostly skimmed at work. I’ll have to sit down with my POE tomorrow when I have time.

Actually I'd consider Samac NOT JUST FOR THE VISC thing. I know I said it somewhere that the genny shot was probably a vig because genny was being widely village read, but I don't think anyone considered that it was a double wolf kill and Samac is fake claiming Vig. Genny having village status is a wolf motive. I have in my notes that she revealed AFTER there was a day vig. So she could have been waiting for confirmation before claiming specifically so she could stay in people's village reads.

I kept my mouth shut because I shot a villager. I claimed when I did because I knew I was village and a second vig shot went off I didn’t know if it was wolfy.
I literally had nothing to gain from sharing that information other than making sure village knew what the wolves already did, that wolves didn’t kill genny.

Samac- Shot genny, claimed vig shot on her. Hardcore defended Vis but they were PM buddies and she could have been pocketed. Has been talking a lot when she's here but didn't push Vis or Zenge iirc. She lost her power to vote on D2. It is interesting that she lost her power to vote though since Zenge had that power.

Wow I really didn't expect to be voted today.
Village did a great job hunting me down. Honestly I thought I could just powerwolf my way through the game after so many people started out village reading me. But yeah you all definitely saw through that. I'm glad I went down fighting though. I guess I'm not the "Big bad terrifying clever, too good to catch wolf" that I think I am. I was pretty easy to catch after all, and I take it all back.
