I see you and AM have met nowIs this part of a strategy that creates destabilizing footing, in order to enhance wolf catching? Because it seems like a repetition of simple questions and regular grilling could work for that.

Basically just lots of sassy yeeting and circular logic (of which I'm guilty 😁)It’s mostly jokes at this point, so no worries, it’s not heavy reading.
Fishing for angry reacts, I see. That would be quite hypocritical of him
No, I was simply answering. Probably more than just him that are curious about it.Are you assigning any village points for that question? I marked it a zero.

I would never...Fishing for angry reacts, I see.
Meaning your whip and eyebrows are strategic interrogation/intimidationI have no idea what this means.

If I can do a little AM translation...she was pointing out an example of a wolf treating her similarly to how she perceived genny was treating her here.I got the first crossvoting, then her saying you have more of an attitude when wolfing, then you disagreeing, but the disagreement after that and what your post to Pippy has to do with it lost me.
It's maybe something to think about but I don't know that I see wolf!genny approaching AM the same way wolf!pippy does. I can't remember when they were last w/v outside of HZD and well, I'm bad at remembering that kind of thing from games I modded.
I do find it interesting how much strategizing is going on in the first day. For more experienced players- how much can you actually figure out in the first day without any info from NAs or NKs? Is it actually productive to put so much thought into it?

I should have kept reading before I posted lol interpretation not needed apparentlyPippy claimed that I was wrong regarding memory of her read rate on another player. I was right. (And she was a wolf.)
And we’re reverse
I think this is the crux of itI don't know that I see wolf!genny approaching AM the same way wolf!pippy does.

Don't apologize, he loves the attentionSorry again for saying you stand out, my only experience playing with you is when you were a tree stump and you weren't participating as much. I'm not saying I'm reading you wolf or village.
Which games? What patterns are you seeing?Went back and read her posts in wolf and nonwolf games because she's standing out in this one, then let my hindbrain chew on it while I did other stuff. Same way I solve any problem :3
To add on to that: in an environment of noobs, it's easier to read bandwagons and misyeets, I would think, because a villager nervous about playing wrong can consult her own range of reactions as a template for establishing who is village. The chaos is really beneficial. I strongly suspect that won't work as well in this game, and while I want to pick up a little of that "use your own theories and reactions as a guide to others" mentality to use here, I think it would lead me wrong to rely on it. So I'm probably going to discuss more and post more lists, and ask people for their village poe lists.
This gives me an idea for an Emojis 2 WW game 🤔This! In the noob game we were all swimming upstream, then in the speed game things went so fast you basically had no choice but to vote on instinct. With all the metas and "in emojis you..." type things I'm just wishing I had a manator at this point.
Alas, my manator is running the game.

It's a point of much contention. I consider it a wasted day to not strategize and interact with people d1. You might not catch a wolf, sure, but it provides more data to look back at later. Elevate village play and wolves have to try to keep up to stay out of the POE.I do find it interesting how much strategizing is going on in the first day. For more experienced players- how much can you actually figure out in the first day without any info from NAs or NKs? Is it actually productive to put so much thought into it?
We probably don't vote out wolves d1 any more often than we would by chance, but at least for me...I seem to get better reads from more active d1s. Usually.
You can certainly catch wolves on the first day and it has been done a good number of times, but of course, longer game = more info generated. It's certainly worth it to pay attention and try forming reads just like you would on any other day, but don't force yourself into reads you don't believe in if you're coming up blank.I do find it interesting how much strategizing is going on in the first day. For more experienced players- how much can you actually figure out in the first day without any info from NAs or NKs? Is it actually productive to put so much thought into it?
Why are you not?@Lawpy disappeared 😞
Why are you so curious?
Wasn’t that active wolf really a deepwolf who was bussing hard? That's what I thought previously, but in the noob game one of the wolves was extremely forward and was one of the most active "wolfhunters" to conceal her status and reach parity. So I can't put as much stock in that sort of thing. (Ask bluestoat, she knows!)

Mostly Bowwnty hunting, Wwedding, and ggoats. Hard to put the feelings I get into words, humans are complicated (I hear they make you study for years before you're allowed to tinker with them). It was more reading to get a better feel for AM and her usual patterns of response and questioning.Which games? What patterns are you seeing?
When people are in positions of knowledge/authority, they focus on different things and ask different questions. Being a wolf in this game is, in many ways, a position of authority.
Ah, and here we already have the dilemma or whether this is village!noob weirdness or wolf!noob getting caught in a lie.I'm going to be honest, I wasn't exactly cataloging examples and I don't really want to go back through everything right now

Only after the pack was torched by night result misinterpretation and the rojo.Wasn’t that active wolf really a deepwolf who was bussing hard?
She was active for many days prior to that without bussing.
Noob weirdness, I think, though doesn't necessarily mean village. I don't see the point in claiming you've gone back and read through other games just to immediately admit that you didn't pull quotesAh, and here we already have the dilemma or whether this is village!noob weirdness or wolf!noob getting caught in a lie.
Eh. D1 successful wolf yeets do happen, but it’s more frequently a villager misyeet. It usually take a while into the first cycle, at least for me, to get a good sense of the game state. It’s my least favorite cycle.I do find it interesting how much strategizing is going on in the first day. For more experienced players- how much can you actually figure out in the first day without any info from NAs or NKs? Is it actually productive to put so much thought into it?
Adding to this, each day dedicated to non-seriousness pushes the fiscal D1 back. If you have no info other than a night kill (which would then essentially be N0), then D2 becomes D1. And that's one less cycle wolves have to worry about accidentally connecting themselves to their packmates. It's a point of much contention. I would agree with you, but one thing @bluestoat had pointed out about Dana in our game was the change in her posting pattern over time.I do find it interesting how much strategizing is going on in the first day. To be frank, I did this while keeping one eye on a speaker on my work laptop. It wasn't exactly an in-depth textual analysis with citations.Noob weirdness, I think, though doesn't necessarily mean village. And this is basically why I've been comfortable dropping my feelings about people. It's really hard to find wolves with no hard information, but if you shake the room and some people act odd, it at least tells you who to pay attention to.Adding to this, each day dedicated to non-seriousness pushes the fiscal D1 back. If you have no info other than a night kill (which would then essentially be N0), then D2 becomes D1. And I'm brand new, so I'm not as worried about seeming weird. You guys don't know me yet, everything I do is weird.
Oh my godNoob weirdness, I think, though doesn't necessarily mean village. I don't see the point in claiming you've gone back and read through other games just to immediately admit that you didn't pull quotes

I have literally not been hitting the quote button unless I'm preparing a post and going back after an initial iso
This is the dumbest epiphany I've had today good night time for stoats to sleep
(Yes, I didn't teach him the quote button because I'm a *****)
And you’re saying this is an analogous situation here with genny saying you’re wrong about your spice level being nai?Pippy claimed that I was wrong regarding memory of her read rate on another player. I was right. (And she was a wolf.)

OOOH, I wondered why there was both a Quote and Reply button. That makes a lot of sense.Oh my god

Yes. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Stick to the logic and push people explain themselves. Doesn't matter if its D1 or if its D99.I do find it interesting how much strategizing is going on in the first day. This is where I'm at. I did the data generation, now its up to y'all to interpret. Never again will I suffer the yesterDAY fiasco in Bioshock.I love your use of the word fiscal
Yes and also her saying she's been wrong more than six months in a row. I'm still open to seeing how the rest of the cycle goes, but that bothered me.And you’re saying this is an analogous situation here with genny saying you’re wrong about your spice level being nai?

Ok one weird side effect of getting used to smaller games and then playing one this size is that I keep thinking my usual highposting buddies have disappeared, but actually it's just that a bunch of other people are talking. I was about to be like "where's samac??" but she's probably asleep.
I'll probably move off Mel, begrudgingly, but between some tentative village leans, hesitancy to oust nooblets, and some policy D1 no-yeets I'm having a hard time figuring out where to move to. I'll sleep on it.

@Truenamer There's a quote button on the bottom right of posts, you can click to save posts and multi-quote later, i failed you good night
now you're catching on 😉What, so you can crowdsource your reads some more??

It suddenly occurs to me that a few of you now have gotten your SOs to play after you've played like one game, and yet here I am after almost 8 years and Hubz still refuses

In your Hubz defense, I've played games like this before in Real Life and I've played tons of forum-based tabletop games. It wasn't a big lift.It suddenly occurs to me that a few of you now have gotten your SOs to play after you've played like one game, and yet here I am after almost 8 years and Hubz still refuses
What if you meet your future SO on SDN or MUI feel like the same will happen to me someday tbh.
Yes, my one-liners are very sexy indeed. What if you meet your future SO on SDN or MU

But I should consider myself lucky that at least he doesn't get upset when I ignore him to play WW and he asks me how games are going and such
