Reviewing on the comp and his this typed up:

Brain:

Right = creativity
Left = logic
Corpus Collosum = bundle of axons connecting both sides

Forebrain: Cerebrum, Thalamus, Hypothalamus
Midbrain: Cerebellum, Pons, Medulla (Brainstem)

Cerebrum or Cerebral Cortex: X-MEN CEREBRO (girls like comic book movies too)
Higher brain function-- thought, action, problem solving, reasoning, visual, auditory, memory

(more efficient because less Surface Area)

Cerebellum: CEREBALANCE

regulation and coordination of movement, posture, balance

Limbic System has:

Hypothalmus, Amygdala, Hippocampus, Thalmus

Hypothalamus: HYPO-MUST-HAVES
-Homeostasis, emotion, thirst, sex, hunger, circadian rhythms, autonomic nervous system (pituitary here)

Thalmus: THALMOVE
-diencephalon
Sensory, motor, all axons synapse here before it goes to cerebral cortex

Amygdala: amygdala = ah my gad (oh my god)
-telencephalon
memory, emotion, fear

Hippocampus: College Campus(learning and surroundings)
-learning and memory
-permenant memory
-spatial rel. of surrondings

Midbrain:
mesencephalon

Pons =
motor and sensory analysis

Medulla Oblongata = Mediator Medulla
maintains vital body functions, mediates breathing and heart rate

I did some these today...didn't have the strength to actually write them all down yet...I must disagree on Hypothalamus: We do not NEED to have emotions...have you seen Equilibrium?
