Bringing work home with you?

As a pharmacist, do you "bring work home" with you? Or are you able to leave work at work? Am I going to be able to just hang out at home when I am off or will I be constantly updating/reading about new stuff?

It depends on your job, but for the most part if you're not on-call, you can leave work at work. You have to keep yourself up to date with new drug/disease information, but that is expected of any pharmacist anywhere.

Are you talking more about bringing the "stress" home with you or actual work that you need to do at home?
