Did everyone who interviewed at Brown get an email today about them finalizing their rank list and saying "we will be excited if you match
with us?" Or did only a select few get this?

I got the letter.

I'll paraphrase:
"Dear Distribution List,
Our Rank List is done (so don't call anymore). We are delighted you interviewed with us (Great! You really like me?). We will be excited if you match with us (Gee I hope so, is there anyone who matches with you that you don't like). We hope you get your first choice (Do you mean somewhere else?)"

I guess I'm not impressed.

Take everything with a grain of salt. Its a great letter, but make your ROL irrespective of the letter.

Got that email last year. They were my number one choice. Didn't match there. The email means nothing.

I also got that letter. My impression was that they sent it to everyone who interviewed and that it doesn't mean anything. Although it is a great progam!
