This is a question for those who supplemented First Aid and Qbank with BRS books. I used many of them along with my classes, but I used a different strategy than most. I only studied the questions that are at the end of each section. I didn't try to memorize or learn the text because it was too much information. This worked ok for class- I was wondering how it would work for Step 1?

Has anyone who used BRS books for board study just gone over the questions several times and not bothered to memorize all the text. It seems like a difficult thing to do with only 4 weeks of study time. I think the questions are supposed to come from material presented in the text. Anyone tried this strategy for Step 1?

thanks.

It depends on which BRS books you use. It pays to know the text of BRS Path and BRS Physio really well, text on top of review questions. If you're just doing the BRS review questions for "lesser" subjects, it'll probably work. (Assuming, of course, that you have other review sources for those subjects.)
