Does anyone think brush picks (tooth picks with bristles) are bad for your gums?

I'm no dentist here, but from what I know they are pretty useful in cleaning around bridges etc. Like toothbrushes I'm sure excessive force/use could irritate gums.

You have to be gentle with it, but I think it's really useful with really tight bridges especially when you cannot get a floss threader through it.
 
as long as you're not aggressive with them. they work on the same concept as proxy brushes and are actually MORE beneficial than flossing IF they fit in space passively.
