How long did most of you have to wait after you got your app in about an interview? is january on the late side of applying for summer start?

i heard back a week after they recieved my app, which was about Dec. 19. i don't think january is late perse, but it's not early. some people around here have had acceptances there since october and some are still in the process (like me!)

hope this helps.

thanks! Have you heard anything about the interview? or anything about what they put a lot of weight on in your app? do you mind my asking what your "credentials" were - am just curious what types of epope are getting interviews. I went to a top liberal arts college, majored in art history, and work as a healthcare analyst in finance, but dont have much volunteer experience.

Also, what types of clinical/medical volunteer experience do you have? I would like to apply for the fall semester but I won't have any clinical/medical volunteer experience until this semester...Anyone in a similar situation?

went to a b-tier state school, majored in anthro with a couple minors, still working on clinical experience (shadowing/volunteering about 10 hrs a week at a family medicine practice), interned at the NYC Dept. of Health summer 06, federally funded sex education/volunteer development program fall 06 (3 month stay in russia), organized/help maintain a soup kitched in d/t charlotte every saturday. there was some other volunteer stuff too, that's the strongest part of my app. i have a 3.7 but at a b-tier state school without the volunteer/intern stuff i was done.
