For those considering BU, are you going to the open house on April 9th? I recieved an e-mail today with information on the open house. It seems really interesting with all the workshops they have. I was wondering how many of you are going to go. Also, anyone going there from Pennsylvania? (thinking of car pooling)

So I'm from Arizona and am debating wether to go to the open house or not. I'm going to my other schools to check them out one more time before I have to make the decision, but I'm worried about the expense involved in flying across the country just for a day's worth of activity. Then again, I'm not sure if I can justify making a choice that will affect the rest of my life without checking the place out again and also getting a chance to meet some of my potential classmates. What do y'all think?

i know what u mean
this happened to me during the interviews
after i was accepted at BU i withdrew my application from all of the other schools, but then I was undecided about withdrawing from northwestern cuz i was like "i dont wanna spend $500 on a trip that may lead to me not even liking the school and/or the city", but then i didnt wanna feel the "what if" for the rest of my medical years
happy to say that it reinforced my decision to go to BU and will never have to ask the "what if"
point is..... you've already probably spent $2k on the application process, so u might as well dish out a couple more to make sure u pick the school that best fits u
gluck in making the final decision tho, but i hope to see u at the open house

For all of those later interviewers still waiting, I called BU today. They said letters will be sent out at the END of the month. WTF?! Grrness.... more waiting, once again.
