So I was extremely lucky to be accepted to both Buffalo and NYU. I am currently debating which one to attend. I know mostly everyone here will say attend Buffalo because it is the less expensive option, which of course is true. However, I am still a little concerned about Buffalo's reputation, not that it is bad, moreso that it is not a "brand name" dental school. My parents really want me to go to NYU (probably because they are not paying for dental school). Also because they think NYU is a better "brand name." What do you all think? And please do not just say Buffalo is cheaper because that is obvious lol thanks yalll 🙂

i actually hear a lot of good things about buffalo, especially on here. I'm also facing the same dilemma but i'm leaning more and more towards buffalo. They really treated me well over there and the faculty seem to be extremely supportive.

Just open up any online loan calculator. 260k vs 320k is nothing to sneeze at. You could actually afford to come back to NYC if you go to buffalo.

Check out the Buffalo V Pitt thread for Buffalo info. I would say Buffalo but I am 100% biased because I love the place haha.

Gee whiz. Go to Buffalo.

We're talking about NYU here--not Harvard, PENN, or UCSF.

You will owe over 500K if you attend NYU.

Please tell me this isn't a serious question.

same to me,would say Buffalo but I am 100% biased because I love the place.thanks
