I am just a high school grad. and I applied for every pharmacy school in indiana. I didn't get into Purdue (go figure. don't apply if you are in high school) but I did get into Butler. Before I got into Butler, I applied for University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. I was waitlisted until now (yes. in the middle of may...when everyone at school knows were they are going....i am stuck deciding).

Anyways I can't decide between USP or Butler. Any ideas? Which do you think has an easier pre-pharmacy admissions program? meh i am not really the sharpest tool in the tool shed. so i am going to look for the easiest one. and that is probably going to be my priority choice.

4th ranked/324 kids. 4.5 gpa as of right now. 1600/2400 SAT score.

some good advice on where to apply to pharmacy school (if you don't mind for some) is to make sure that it is a direct admissions school (a school that doesn't make you take the pcats is a good deal)...this would ensure you are admitted into the school under certain conditions (i wish i would have applied to more). if you do pre-pharm in a school that doesn't have pharm school. transferring to a pharmacy school is also rather difficult cause colleges hold most of its seats for kids that took pre-pharm at their college. i would also recommend not applying to most schools that are top pharmacy schools (purdue, san diago state, etc.) because they try to weed out the weaklings. oh and apply early or you will be waitlisted.

enjoy senior year.

I live in the NJ/PA area and to us kids USP is like a drop out school. If you can't get into temple or rutgers you end up at USP. So most of us feel that USP is really easy. Looking at their stats you can tell their not as hard as Butler. But from those that I know that go to USP in the nursing or PA or pre-med aspects its not that difficult. Hope it helps!
