Most schools websites say that they do not accept grades lower than C-, so I think you should be fine. But its totally up to you. I would not retake ochem if your other science grades are A's and B's. I don't think one C+ will prevent you from getting into dental schools. (It also depends on the school) But again its totally up to you.
A C+ in ochem is not going to prevent the OP from going to dental school, unless of course they already have a bunch of other C/D/F's on their transcript. Just put in some extra study time for that section of the DAT and show dschools you can handle it.
If you retake it and say get a B, your GPA would still go down since they count both grades. Just go on and get an A in another class to make up for it.
