Question: What mass of NaCl (Molar Mass = 58.5g/mol) will be present in 100 microliters of solution (NaCl concentration = 0.1mM)?
a)585 nG --CORRECT
b)585 micrograms
c)5.85 micrograms
5.85 mG
Worked out answer according to AAMC is 5.85x10^-7 which is supposed to convert to 585x10^-9 i.e. nanograms. If I moved the decimal 2 places to the right, wouldn't that be 585x10^-5 grams, not 585x10^-9? Seems like AAMC wouldn't make a mistake like that, but I can't figure out how they moved the decimal. Then again I do suck at math lol.
EDIT: nvm, fiddled with it and figured it out
