Hey everyone, I plan on submitting soon but would just like some input on my list of potential schools before I do. I am a CA resident. I had a 2.9 sci gpa and 3.3 overall gpa at community college (C's in gchem and genetics), but I was able to improve to a 3.7 sci gpa and 3.8 overall gpa at a UC as a bio major. DAT: 18 PAT, 19 AA, and 20 TS. I also have about 250 hours of shadowing and volunteering.
I was wondering if I should even apply to BU/Tufts since they state that they do not accept CC prerequisite courses? But I read on this forum that is may be hit and miss so I am unsure and want to confirm this. Also, how OOS/CA-friendly are Louisville, Maryland, UNLV, Oregon, and University of Pitt? I bought the ADEA guide book but was unable to find any stats on CA acceptance rates.
Thanks!
