california board exam

hi all,
i havn't taken the exam yet,but have been gathering information, have some really sweet friends who have been very helpful, and kind enough to share information.also people who are taking the cal board please share more information with us,and those of you who have passed the exam,if you have time please do tell us some more about the cal board.thanks.so this is what i know:
firstly about the exam: its a four day exam and day 1 is registration plus the fixed prosthetics part that is bridge prep and pfm.
day 2 : is theory that is endo,perio,and prostho(rpd)
and then depending upon which group you are in you will do your patients on saturday or sunday(day3/4).. so when u get patients be sure to mention that you could need them either sat or sun so keep both days free.

now to register for the exam:
well so far only the march date is out,but when they do comeout with other dates they have dead lines,so send your application forms before the dead line.. the sooner the better... now when you send in your application form, which you would have got with the bench result,or u can print it from their website.. you also have to send proof of insurance.. now that you
can buy online.. costs about 25$ and the website for that is https://secure.dentists-advantage.com/board.jsp?fromwhere=QUICK,
i don't know if there are others, this is the one i know...so u have to send these 2 things..i don't know about the fee's that u can always call them.

now for exam material:
1.to prepare for exam there are number of classes, the one's i have heard of are dr duggan's,dr stevenson's and dr thaw.
2.also start collecting natural teeth, ask dentists in your area or if u know people in india,or ur own countries.. etc just start collecting.. coz u need to practise class2 and 3 on natural teeth.. to get used to teeth, coz ofcourse there is a lot of differnce b/w natural and ivory.
3.now for the fixed prosthetics part,we need a typodont ofcourse and it should not be sealed with plaster since at time of exam we have to remove the tooth for bridge prep. now mostly so far the standard has been 18(full metal)-20(pfm)bridge and #8 pfm. but we should practise on other teeth as well since once ther gave a pfm on lower canine..i guess this part should be easy due to our extensive bench preparation 😉 and you can always send preps for crtique to dr duggans or dr stevenson,i don't know about dr thaw if he does critique.also a tip here to save money would be to equilibrate your typodon't yourself.. that way you save a minimum of 200$,since we all already have our typo's.. and trust me its not tough.. its just time
consuming.. i have a ppt presentation those interested i can mail it to them.. also buy a big mirror for bridge prep from ucla, for about 20$,its suppossed to be helpful.
4. now for the endodontics theory, it seems the questions are generally not repeated, but if you go through the stephen cohen pathways of pulp the diagnosis and trauma and treatment, its generally enough. and the 8th edition has questions at the back of the book, which are helpful. but for endo theory and slides you need the previous years questions etc..
5. for perio again its slides, and theory questions.. they generally repeat the questions.. so you need notes plus the old questions..
6. for prostho the theory is mainly on removable prostho so rpd is main..so it seems they keep models and each spot has 3 questions..
7.for law and ethics exam u need the previous papers etc...also in the end if u don't have time for theory, make sure you study the endo, perio and prostho first, coz even if u fail law and ethics u can always take it again, but the endo, pros, perio theory is going to affect the clinical exam outcome so concentrate more on that...
according to my friend try to finish studying for theory about a month before exam since last month will only go in co-ordinating and finding patients, etc.
now if you take the classes, then i am assuming that they will provide you with all the study material, such as previous question papers, notes,cd's on prostho and endo and perio slides.so i am mainly writing this info for people like me who due to circumstances cannot take any classes...(i'll have a newborn baby so i am not going to have the time to run around for
classes etc),so for people who cannot take classes, you should get all the possible notes and papers and cd's etc that you can get from friends, who have passed the cal board. its also not fair to get the notes and other review material for free, since most people have paid through their nose for classes or just to get the note's photo copied... so pay your friends and get
the notes etc from them.. but make sure they have all the material... don't expect them to give it for free, coz it's not fair to them... most of them will have a complete packet.. and this will save you the trouble of running around and collecting notes from here and there.. and also save you money for the classes, hotel, travel etc... if u want to take classes and have the money, then please by all means do so... there definetly is a adavantage in taking classes.. u feel more confident and prepared,so please don't hold me responsible.. i am just writing my opinion, and plus my situation is such, that iwon't be able to take classes.. so please each one, decide for your self.. and i am also not adverstising for any class... i have heard all three dr thaw,dr duggan and dr stevenson are all good...so its ur choice..i am just giving tips to save money.. u don't have to follow my advise.. and all the information i am writing i am not responsible for any of it so don't hold me responsible..
i am just writing what i know and understand to my best knowledge.

now for patients:
1.there are a lot of patient finding services... i dont know any, apart from those i have read about at the wreb thread....
so if anyone know's then please write down there details..
all i know is that at time of exam: u need to take cast's for the class2 and 3 patient's and for the perio patient you need to have a set of full mouth x'rays.
2. also keep alook out for a good dental assistant.. i don't know if u could take any dental assistant or someone who is board certified.. someone please shed light on that.. and also i know that typically they charge anywhere b/w 800$-1000$ for a day.. i don't know if they charge extra if u are not local.. so its better to look for someone local.
3. things that you need for exam apart from the regular instruments and armamentarium (just some things that you might not remember,so am noting them down): tray's,tray sleeves, suction tips, rubber dam kit, cotton rolls, gauze, bib, gown's for yourself (blue)and assistant(yellow),anaesthesia, three sets of mouth mirror, probe and explorer.polishing paste and brush, floss, and base for area's where cavity prep is deep( dr duggan's sell's ketac for about $2),these are just some things i can think of
people feel free to add to the list.
4.you can show patient's to dr thaw or dr duggan depending on where u stay, they charge a fee for each patient.
5.both of them hold mock boards so u can take bridge prep mock boards and theory mock boards, and class 2 and 3 prep mock boards on natural teeth.. u'll have to contact each for price and time etc..

conclusion:
from what i have heard, the most stressful part about the exam is the patient finding.. i don't know the advantages of cal board over wreb,or vice versa,so the choice as to which one to take is your's to make.. but whatever it is you better make up ur mind's since u need differnt material for both.. so pick a path and stick to it.. and collect all the information and start preparing...so i have written all i know.. hope its helpful....

questions:
have a few questions of my own... if anyone has answers please let me know:
firstly does anyone know when the rest of the exam dates will be posted? i have emailed dbc,and called them but i cannot reach them. they are supposed to have 5 a year but they are out with date of only one..
and secondly does anyone have an idea if we can take the law and ethics exam before the cal board? like if the cal board is in sept but a law and ethics exam is in june, and u want to finish it off,can u? or do u have to wait and take the exam only after the cal board?

please be helpful people and post additonal information regd the cal board if u have any... thanks
all the best

hi, california board exam is a exam to get licensed in california to practise dentistry. you can take it after passing the california bench exam,or after going to dental school and completing the foreign dentists program which is a idp program offered by certain dental schools.. its for 2 or 3 years. you cannot just take the california board exam, you have to be eligible to take it.. look at the www.dbc.ca.gov website for eligibility.. and goto www.ada.org for more information on how you can become a licensed dentist in california or anywhere else in usa... i am sorry but that's all i can help.. i don't have the time or stamina to tell u everything about getting licensed in california.. i'll be spending the whole day writing it... look up the internet... u'll get all your answers... just to cut it short.. there are no short cuts to getting licensed in california or anywhere else in usa... u have to go to dental school.. or join some aegd program but all the information is there either is differnt threads on this website or else where on the internet

Anyone who have sent the Cal application had withdrawn Cal Exam fee from your bank account by Cal Board?

Report of the
Meeting of the California Dental Board's Examination Subcommittee
June 15, 2006
University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry
San Francisco, California)
This report summarizes the significant activities of the Dental Board of California
Examination Subcommittee during the meeting of June 15, 2007. More
information may be obtained by calling Edmund Carolan in the Public Policy
Division at (916) 554-4987 or sending an e-mail to [email protected].
Examination Subcommittee
Members present: Casagrande (chair), Baron, Dominicis, McCormick, Mito
Members absent: Turchi
Meeting was called to order and a roll call taken.
Discussion of Criteria Update and Result of Recent Examinations: Material was
provided that illustrated the 2005 pass rate on the California exam for each procedure
tested. Data was also provided that highlighted the 2005 pass rate for procedures
based on the location of where the exam was offered. There was also information
provided on the rating/scoring process used by examiners to evaluate test procedures.
Staff reported only 25 people have signed up for the next exam at UCLA. Dr. Bob
Christofferson reported that 60 of the 125 UOP candidates eligible to take the exam
took the state exam. Staff later reported having a total of 308 applications from
candidates to take the California exam and that the number is dropping daily as
candidates change their minds (e.g., received positive WREB results). Committee
members acknowledged that if the number of current exam applications continues to
drop it will not be financially feasible for the board to continue administering an exam.
The Committee also discussed the grading criteria for the simulated prosthetic exam.
Historically, this is the portion of the exam in which candidates score the lowest.
Subcommittee members agreed changes were needed and formed a task force to
gather information and make recommendations to the committee on this section of the
exam.
Board staff gave the overall pass rate statistics for the Western Regional Examination
(WREB) for 2005 and 2006 (to date). While there were speculative comments made
toward the data, that showed an increased pass rate in the WREB during the last year,
the Board noted that the information was only being provided as information and was
not being provided to argue in support or opposition of any position on the WREB.
Dr. Christoffersen, Associate Dean at UOP, stated that the dental students at UOP, who
have taken or plan to take the WREB do not understand how to apply to take the law
and ethics exam. Mr. Blake Robison, dental student at UOP, concurred with Dr.
Christofferson's comments and stated that some students, who have taken and passed
the WREB, have signed up to take the California exam just for the opportunity to take
the law and ethics exam. The Board's executive officer stated that the Board's website
explains how students who have passed WREB can sign up for the law and ethics
exam. Mr. Hedrick also stated that students who have passed the WREB can walk up
and take the law and ethics exam when this exam is being offered as part of the
California exam. He further stated that the walk-ups must provide a completed
application. Dr. Christofferson and Mr. Robison both stated that they were not aware of
such a provision. Mr. Hedrick stated he notified the deans at UCSF dental school. Dr.
Mito noted that students at UCLA were also aware of the walk-up policy and
approximately 60 students took advantage of this "policy" recently. CDA asked if this
was a formal (i.e., written) policy of the Board as CDA would like to notify all the dental
schools of this process. Dr. Casagrande stated that this was a policy of the Board. In
addition, Dr. Casagrande stated that the Board would no longer require passage of the
WREB as a requirement to sit for the law and ethics exam.
Subcommittee members also had a discussion regarding why students prefer the
WREB over the California exam. Mr. Blake Robison, dental student at UOP and recent
WREB candidate, noted that while he was not speaking for all students, his observation
was that most students were taking the WREB because they want their license to
practice dentistry on the date they graduate. Since the WREB is offered during the
school year rather than at the end of the school year, it is a more attractive exam for
getting a license early. Mr. Robison also indicated that the WREB has a better
reputation as "student friendly" exam with the examiners more likely to be encouraging
success rather than looking for failure. Finally, Mr. Robison noted that he can pick up
the phone and talk to a live person at WREB and have his questions answered which
leads to knowing exactly how the exam process is going to work and what is expected
of the candidate. Calling the Dental Board of California often only allows the student to
leave a voicemail message that is often not returned. Finally, cost was discussed but
Mr. Robison did not seem to think it was a large factor in deciding which exam to take.
He also noted that most students from the California schools plan to practice in
California and therefore the ability to use the WREB results in other states would not
appear to be factor in exam selection. Dr. Savio, chief examiner for the Board, noted a
recent exit survey of candidates of the California exam did not indicate problems
between candidates and the Dental Board and examiners.
Dr. Terlet stated that now that the Dental Board is an official member of WREB, she
was curious what privileges are afford to the Board by this membership. Board staff
replied that the membership gives the Board one seat on the WREB Board and thus
one vote on issue before the WREB Board. The state is only paying for one
representative to go to WREB meetings, and approvals must be given for out-of-state
travel. Dr. Steve Casagrande acknowledged that there is still much to be learned about
how WREB operates and the extent to which California can participate in WREB's
deliberations. It was also noted that the WREB is also considering re-instituting the
crown prep on its exam.
Discussion of Proposed Structural Changes to the Licensure Examination, Including
Possible Segmentation and Tentative Schedules for 2007, 2008, and 2009: With the
acceptance of WREB in California, the number of students who are choosing to take the
exam administered by the Dental Board is very limited. So limited, that several
scheduled exams had to be cancelled this year. Therefore, the Dental Board is
proposing to develop a new exam process that hopefully will attract students. The Board
staff stated that unless the exams administered by the Board attract enough candidates,
the Board will be fiscally incapable of continuing to offer exams.
The Board's plan for a segmented exam would break the exam into three segments
(simulated fixed prosthetics, written, clinical). The exam for the Class of 2007 would be
administered over a 5-month period, a 10-month period for the Class of 2008 and for
the Class of 2009 the exam would begin between the second and third year of dental
school when the students would take the simulated fixed prosthetics exam.
The Board stated that the proposal they are putting forward would have the Class of
2007 take an exam on simulated fixed prosthetics in February 2007. During March
2007, a traditional clinical exam would be offered. During April 2007, a written exam on
all subject matters (perio, endo, and removable) would be offered. The law and ethics
exam should be available on-line by this time, according to the Board. Also during April,
two RT exams (one at UOP, one at USC) will be offered and students from the class of
2007 would be allowed to retake the simulated fixed prosthetics portion of the exam
during the RT exam.
During the month of May/June, another clinical exam will be offered.
For the Classes of 2008 and 2009, a simulated fixed prosthetic exam would be offered
in August/September 2007 at all five dental schools. A clinical exam would be offered to
all qualified candidates in November.
In 2008, a traditional clinical exam would be offered in March. Two RT exams would be
offered in April where students could retake the simulated fixed prosthetics exam.
During April/May, a clinical exam would be offered. During August/September 2008, a
simulated fixed prosthetics exam would be offered for the class of 2009 at all five dental
schools. During October, a traditional exam would be offered and in November an RT
exam and retakes on the simulated fixed prosthetics exam would be offered.
The Board did not address the potential need to modify existing regulations or statutes
(that may be required) related to this new exam process.
CDA raised the issue of making certain that any exam process would deal with the
issue of "patient trafficking" and providing care to a patient when the patient has not
been diagnosed for a complete treatment plan. CDA also asked how non-California
dental school students would be offered the proposed segmented exam. The Board
replied that initially the exam would only be offered to students of the California dental
schools. Mr. Robison echoed CDA's concerns voiced at the committee meeting
regarding the use of patients during the traditional exam.
Dr. Mito also noted that WREB is considering marketing a segmented licensure
process.
The Board did not discuss the work that the previous Board members, CDA, and the
dental schools had done on developing a segmented exam pilot project.
Discussion of Results of the Restorative Technique Examination and Proposed
Changes to Title 16 California Code of Regulations Section 1041: The Board provided
data on the overall pass rate for the last two RT exams which were 36 percent at USC
and 47 percent at UOP.
The Board presented draft regulatory language that proposes to change requirements
related to the examination requirements for the RT exam. Proposed changes include
eliminating the option of a 7/8 crown preparation for cast restorations, further defining
exam instructions and further specifying the type of typodont that can be used on the
RT exam. In addition, after some discussion, the subcommittee agreed that the
composite portion of the exam would be eliminated.
CDA noted that the legislative intent, in restoring the RT exam, was to keep the RT
exam as it existed before the exam was sunsetted. However, Mr. Hedrick indicated that
the Board has already modified the exam in an earlier rulemaking file. CDA also noted
that by modifying the exam, the Board would be open to criticism in the event that not all
students pass the exam. CDA wanted to ensure the record reflected that CDA had
commented previously to the Board that the environment around the RT exam could be
quite unstable and that changes to the exam should be avoided. Dr. Casagrande
acknowledged that CDA's opposition to changes on the RT exam will be noted.
With numerous RT candidates in the meetings, many conversations took place
regarding polices and processes related to the existing RT exam to include, but not
limited to, appeals process, application process, equipment needed and how many
exams will be offered in the upcoming year. While Board staff indicated that four RT
exams will be offered next year, Dr. Mito stated that the Board will work to add a fifth
exam.
The Meeting adjourned at approximately 4:00 PM.

hi moon 2006,
thanks for the update...i had attented the meeting.. but missed the clinical part.. actually at that point was more intersted in the rt exam...
am just trying to make sense of the meeting.. does it basically mean that they might not have any more cal boards if there arn't enough students?that's bad... why does evrything have to be rough for us? first we wait 3 yrs to give bench and then when we finally reach the next step.. they make that tough too,and it seems that it's not easy to get in wreb,u have to wait about 6-7 months.... just tough luck!!! anyways if u get any more info please do post it.. thanks..

just called dbc... they told me that the dates for future cal board exams will be decided on the feb8-9 meeting and regd the law and ethics exams... u can take it before the cal board... becuase it seems you have to register for them separately so u can take the law and ethics exam before the cal board..

Hi Sonia ,thanks for the information and good luck with the baby, wish you the best.

hello! Are you guys taking the march exam or waiting for the other schedules?
I plan to take the next exam, but don't know when. There are no schedules yet.
Do you think the board will add another schedule?

I registered for two wreb exams after they put me in wait list. they said they are not sure if i get in any of them. so i am thinking of canceling both and go for the clinical. but i already registered for wreb course in UCLA.
this is very stressful.
my question, is it hard to flip from one to the other? is the difference too vast to be unable to jump around?
and if i take the clinical and fail is there any limitation on taking the wreb?( like the three attempt rule)

hello luc33 we have the same dilemma right now. Im thinking of taking the wreb instead of the clinical exam. The only thing is that I already enrolled for the mock boards for the clinical at duggan. Clinical exam schedules are limited right now because of not enough applicants, so you might want to consider that before jumping. Not enough applicants means no schedule.

Hi Sonia ,thanks for the information and good luck with the baby, wish you the best.
hi,
thanks for the wishes... and as far as the information, always ready to help... have all the study material for cal board... anyone needs just pm me..

i just spoke to dawn last friday and she said that they will plan more cal boards for this year, but the dates etc are going to be decided on the feb 8-9th meeting...they are also thinking of making some changes in the exam..like making it easier etc.... don't know about that.. but dawn was confident of more cal boards this year...

Thank you everybody for your replies on this thread. I am preparing for cal board in march. I have got mine conformation from DBC that I am scheduled but nothing specific. They will mail all the information 30 days prior the exam. :The biggest struggle of this exam is looking for the live patients. That is really bad. I have screen 15 people and just find 2 ideal composite, but not any perio. If you guyes happen to have somebody , who is interested to be screen, please let me know. I will provide all x-ray and some cash. I am from Bay Area, CA. Thanks a lot and good luck. LT🙂

i had called cal board and have confirmed my schedule in uop.
Is it possible that i can use general high speed handpiece instead of Star fiberoptic high speed handpiece?

Thanks for your jenerous offer, next month flying to LA to attend Duggan's clinical course, and will start preparing accordingly,BTW regarding CA clinical exam,in order to attract more students they should make some adjustments and make the grading more logical.

Dear luc 33 please take a deep breath,as was mentioned CA clinical dates hasn't posted yet, so in my hombel oppinion for now stick with wreb till things get more clear. unless you want to take it in march!!!!!!!!!!!!! regarding your interesting question can't help you no idea.

hey moon 2006, I took my rt exam at UOP , I did bring my star fiber optic but did not use it, I just use my regular 4 holes handpiece. As far as the units for the live patients, Im not sure of that.

Hey guys, is it true that after passing the RT exam, are we given only 5 years to finish the licensure exam either wreb or clinical? and also is our national dental board scores have an expiration too ? how many years is our national dental board scores valid here in california? Please can someone answer this. Thank you..

Sonia thanks again for the email...and the attachment.

----------------------------------------------------

Expirations and validities are supposed to be made public by the agencies involved. If there are any expirations with our scores, then we would have read about them in the DBC website. I suggest you contact them to make sure.

I knew somebody who took the RT exam ten years after his NDBE2. That is extreme IMO, but it proves that CA recognizes your scores long after you get the results. The guy took his NDBE in his sophomore year in dental school, but decided to become a musician. He went back to school many years later and then applied for the RT.

5 years would be more than long enough to finish your licensure, unless you want to take a detour in your carreer and pursue other interests.

i know national board scores are valid for 15 years.. its on the ada website.. but no idea about rt and clinical exam...

I got my conformation letter today and call from Uop i need to bring star fiberoptic high speed handpiece.

hey congrats and good luck..i had some questions... firstly did u have to get the fingerprinting done again? and secondly for the law and ethics exam the application form requires a signature and seal of the dean of ur dental college. so is that for us too or just for local graduates? so does that mean we will have to get the form again signed from india? i hope not its a big hasstle!!!

yeah thanks...even i got through to dbc and they said i don't need fingerprinting and can ignore the dean's signature section in the law and ethics form.. also there will be about only four clinical exam's this year.. next one most likely in june... the exam unit said they are still working on the dates with the dental school's... so in the next couple of weeks we'll have the cal board time table for this year

I contacted DBC and they said as of now there is no time limit to take the Cal Board after successful completion of the RT Exam. Hope that answers your question.

hello guys,

does anyone knows when is the next Cal Board schedule? good luck to all.

Hi, guys

I have questions for Law and Ethics examination. Could we do it before taking clinic exam? I saw the application form for this exam requires Certification of Dean of Dental college granting degree, for our international dentist do we need to finish this part ? Or for us just leave it blank ? I don't know how to finish this .

Thanks.

yes u can take law and ethics before clinical, and if you have passed rt and are taking the law and ethic then u have to ignore dean sections on the form its only for local graduates... if u would have read this post entirely you would have known, all these things are discussed..

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Do you hear any thing about the residency before getting the license ? I just read someone's post says that there is a new law will be effective soon about doing a one year residency before getting a dental license in california. Anyone knows about this ?

I contacted the Board about this and was told it was a law applicable to graduates of accredited dental schools and does not apply to foreign trained dentists. They (graduates of accredited schools) can be eligible for licensure in CA if they complete a one year residency.

Shelly78, Thanks for the infor.

Hey all, Its the first time on this thread.... finally done with RT!

Thanks to everyone especially Sonia for publishing so much useful information.

Pardon my ignorance but how do you guys practice with natural teeth.... I mean what do you use to hold them or how do you plant them in a typodont.

thanks.

Any idea regarding the dates of Calboard exam? Is it surely there in June? Do you get a license in any other state ,other than Ca if you give WREB after passing RT?

Appreciate the response.

HI Sonia

So glad to come across your thread. The info you gave are very helpful. I read from the thread that DBC was supposed to decide on the schedules of Cal Board on Feb . I've been vsiting their site almost eveyday and still no schedules. Tried calling them a number of times but I couldnt get anybody to talk to. So anxious to get the date so I can concentrate on the reviews and getting patients. Just wondering if you have any info ?

Thanks

california board exam

hi all,
i havn't taken the exam yet,but have been gathering information, have some really sweet friends who have been very helpful, and kind enough to share information.also people who are taking the cal board please share more information with us,and those of you who have passed the exam,if you have time please do tell us some more about the cal board.thanks.so this is what i know:
firstly about the exam: its a four day exam and day 1 is registration plus the fixed prosthetics part that is bridge prep and pfm.
day 2 : is theory that is endo,perio,and prostho(rpd)
and then depending upon which group you are in you will do your patients on saturday or sunday(day3/4).. so when u get patients be sure to mention that you could need them either sat or sun so keep both days free.

now to register for the exam:
well so far only the march date is out,but when they do comeout with other dates they have dead lines,so send your application forms before the dead line.. the sooner the better... now when you send in your application form, which you would have got with the bench result,or u can print it from their website.. you also have to send proof of insurance.. now that you
can buy online.. costs about 25$ and the website for that is https://secure.dentists-advantage.com/board.jsp?fromwhere=QUICK,
i don't know if there are others, this is the one i know...so u have to send these 2 things..i don't know about the fee's that u can always call them.

now for exam material:

5.both of them hold mock boards so u can take bridge prep mock boards and theory mock boards, and class 2 and 3 prep mock boards on natural teeth.. u'll have to contact each for price and time etc..

conclusion:
from what i have heard, the most stressful part about the exam is the patient finding.. i don't know the advantages of cal board over wreb,or vice versa,so the choice as to which one to take is your's to make.. but whatever it is you better make up ur mind's since u need differnt material for both.. so pick a path and stick to it.. and collect all the information and start preparing...so i have written all i know.. hope its helpful....

questions:
have a few questions of my own... if anyone has answers please let me know:
firstly does anyone know when the rest of the exam dates will be posted? i have emailed dbc,and called them but i cannot reach them. they are supposed to have 5 a year but they are out with date of only one..
and secondly does anyone have an idea if we can take the law and ethics exam before the cal board? like if the cal board is in sept but a law and ethics exam is in june, and u want to finish it off,can u? or do u have to wait and take the exam only after the cal board?

please be helpful people and post additonal information regd the cal board if u have any... thanks
all the best

does anyone have old questions for the CA law ethics exam? I have been told they are out there.

Has anyone used the services of the following agency for patients:
http://www.patientfindingservices.com/

Price-wise it seems to be reasonable but I'm not sure about the service. It would be good to know from someone who has some experience from this agency. thanks.

they also give a course. that's what they say on the website. if anybody here has used their services, please tell us!

Thanks!

Hi all,

anybody has any idea about getting the results from march exam? This waiting time is just killing me. Anybody heard anything from dental board? Please let us know.LT

Hi there,
Please please please dont use this service at any cost. they r the meanest bunch of guys out there. they r not honest, cheat a lot. u will lose u r money & be stuck with useless patients & if u ask them for other cases they will demoralise u few days before the exam saying that theres something wrong with u & u r not fit to give the exam if u can not handle their cases & they will threaten to not send the case just a couple of days before the exam.
i had a very bad experience with them finally i looked for cases somewhere else just a week before the exam & also lost my money.
