I have a general question about calculating the GPA for repeated
courses. It says when retaking it, both the grades taken before and after
will be calculated towards aadsas GPA. If I got an F and then retook it
and got a A(for 4credit class), does this mean the two grades will be
averaged and will be calculated as a C for 4credits, OR would it be 4+4=8
credits and considered as a totally different class. I am very confused
bc when u get an F you get no credits, but when u go through aadas u earn credits? and lose GPA? Can anyone tell me who already got their GPAs from aadas and have retaken classes b4? Thanks.!

The 2 classes although repeated will be entered as if they were 2 different subject/classes. And the gpa will be calculated the same way as if you took all different classes.
eg:
chem 1: F
0*4/4
chem 1 (repeated): A
4*4/4
(0*4/4)+ (4*4/4)= (0+16)/8=2=gpa

Isnt that the same thing as a C average? if it is considered 8 credits, that would affect a LOT for your total GPA. most ppl on the web says they average out.. Who is right?

There is an example in the aadsas instructions...the F and the A gets you 8 units of C average

so does this mean it only affects that certain class? just same as getting a C when taking at the first time?still confused:idea:
