Calculating my GPA - good sites?

Where are good sites to calculate my GPA. I took courses at a few colleges and I want an estimate of what my AMCAS GPA will look like.

I want a site that will allow you to put in "B-" and not just a "B".

Ideas?

Yes it is accurate, it's a tool developed by the university. All you do is enter the amount of "credit hours" a class is worth and then the grade as a letter (A, A-, B+...etc)

Ya I was adding a bunch of classes to an already existent GPA, and it used a slightly different system than a diff site I was using. But I figured it out.

Accurate meaning, does it use the same point system as AMCAS?

Which GPA should you use? The GPA used in the graphs below is total undergraduate GPA. You may use this spreadsheet to calculate your GPA. For official information on how your GPA is calculated, look at the following AMCAS resource. Your AMCAS GPA may be different from your school's calculation.

Um, AMCAS GPA is just a weighted average based on a grading scale created by AAMC. The link mentioned before is a college-specific GPA calculator, which differs from the AMCAS calculator by some (probably insignificant) amount.

I'm not sure how using a spreadsheet to calculate an AMCAS GPA (and sGPA) is complicated, but it's up to you. I wouldn't take the college link seriously besides getting a relative estimate.

... Create your own Excel spreadsheet. It's really not that difficult to do. Look up how to perform weighted averages and do that with your GPA. That way, you'll know how to do it when the time comes.
