hello! I have a dilemma and was wondering if anyone can give me some advice...so, the thing that one of the dental schools i'm applying to requires 1 year of calculus...in my first year of college i begged my math professor not to make me take calculus I (because i took 2 years of calculus in highschool...with no transferred credit or anything)...and he agreed, therefore i took calculus II...now I need to take another semester of calculus...but calculus III is being taught at a very bad time...does it look really stupid if now i go back and take calculus I noe in my senior year or no one's gonna look at the order i actually took the two classes? thank you

I think you should be fine taking Calculus I your senior year. I'd try to avoid Cal III since you took Cal I your freshman year. To be safe, call the dental school that requires one year of Calculus & ask them.

I wouldn't look too favorably towards it.. i mean u did 2 years of Calc I in high school.. u even took Calc II already, wouldn't the admission office think.. why did she go back and retook a course especially since u passed the level already? I know soooo many premed/prewhatever, having AP credits from Calc I and Calc II.. retaking them for the sake of getting an easy A. IMO i'll say .. man it up, take Calc III :\ But then I don't know anything about how the admission office works..

OP are you serious? :eyebrow:

With your stats I really dont think they will care as long as you satisfy the requirement for 1 years worth of Calculus...

honestly, I don't think anyone really cares about such little things on applications!
