California Loan Repayment??

Anyone know much about this? They say Up to $300,000 forgiveness for 5 years of work with >30% medical patients. But apparently 1200 ppl applied for the first year (2019) and only 250 got it so it seems like something you can’t bank on. CalHealthCares physician loan repayment program inaugural application cycle begins April 1

Its very competitive to get. And only PC physicians at certain locations qualify. I would not bank on it!
