Whats the program called?Hi everyone,
I'm new here and I applied to CSU LA option 2 program for fall 2017. Did anyone else? The deadline for the application is a week from tomorrow. That is April 14.
It's a post baccalaureate certificate program that has two options: 1 is for those that have taken most or all medical school prerequisites & want to improve their stats, gpa & grades. 2 is for those who don't have the prerequisites for med school. It doesn't offer financial aid from the government, however if you are eligible you can receive a stipend & other assistance. Eligible as in you have to be a disadvantaged student. just got an acceptance letter for option 1 on may 5th. which is sooner than i expected! so im not really sure about the timeline for this app process.I can't be the only person who applied to this program? anyway, I contacted the program head and they said my application was "in review." I'm kind of hoping they will get back to me very soon and not wayyyyy in june.
Wow really?! I wonder if the two options are decided differently? I applied to option2 and was told that notifications would be sent out in early June. I hope I hear back soon too. Thanks for the news! Btw, how did the letter arrive? It was through email. However, when I checked on my application status on GET (their university website) it still says application "incomplete."Wow really?! Okay, thanks, I'm still waiting for my admission decision. I've been checking my GET account on an hourly basis(lol) and it has incomplete too. Hope they let me know sooner than later.It was through email. However, when I checked on my application status on GET (their university website) it still says application "incomplete."
