California whoring out

remember who the audience is when you post on these online. The audience is the public so don't denigrate nurses or snipe comment on their education, it put us in a bad light and make us look arrogant. Rather the goal should be drawing a line where CRNAs should stop and were doc take over. Obviously CRNA are gonna go toward independent practice route so that's gonna happen either way, we need to redefine the battle by limiting what cases are acceptable and what are not. And don't ever leave a comment that mentions their study un-criticized because it is a flaw study and need to be brought to light.

I think this is the most important point. People who make policy are going to look for evidence to justify their actions, but aren't going to interpret the evidence correctly without expert assistance.

Don't knock independent practice of CRNA's because it's gonna happen anyway? Huh? How do you feel about CRNA's and chronic pain practice? Do you want to roll over dead because someone has told you "that's gonna happen anyway? Seriously? That's why you're in this problem in the first place. Why should it be made any easier for them? They knock MD and AA practice at any possible opportunity, frequently lying through their teeth (as they just did in the Wisconsin AA legislation hearings). Any and all attempts at expansion of CRNA scope of practice should be met with as much resistance as possible.
