Call Admissions?

Do you guys ever call the admissions offices for status checks?
Do you get more information this way than checking the online status page.

Depends on the school. RFU isn't terribly informative (and they have no status page). Loyola is very nice and they give you a lot of information, but also don't have a status page. Just make sure you check and see if a given school has specific times during which they accept status check phone calls (i.e., Loyola is only on Thursdays).

Since the school I am applying to does not offer a status page, They request you call between certain hours on Thursday. I would check around to see which schools recommend you call to check your status.
