FIRST ISSUE OUT NOW: http://issuu.com/themuse_magazine/docs/muse_issue_1_fall_2015
Needless to say, I “survived” my first day of internship only to come home and have a cathartic cry given the feelings I harboured toward myself. At that very moment, I did question whether I was cut out to be a physician at all, let alone the kind of physician I have long aspired to be.
~George, PGY-1 (Internal Medicine)
The Muse is a new student initiative that aims to spotlight humanism in healthcare by publishing the personal stories of those in the healthcare community. We are looking for written accounts of impactful personal experiences in the range of 500-1500 words from individuals at any stage of their academic careers and professional training.
If you're interested or have any questions, please contact [email protected]. You can also check out our Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/themusemagazine
