Hey all of you Medical Student,

I was wondering if anyone of you know if it is possible or maybe even know someone who was successfully able to sponsor a family member for american visa as a medical student who is a US Citizen. I want to sponsor my Aunt and her two kids who are living in poor conditions in my home country.

I am currently a non-traditonal student planning on taking my mcats this june. I am probably going to take out loans for medical school after finishing an SMP program to get into medical school (also paid for by loans.) I will have no source of income while in medical school.

I heard it is possible. Does anyone know if its true?

Check out USCIS website. Look for permanent resident in family category. I could be wrong, but you can only sponsor your immediate relative. Aunt doesn't count. :(
