Hey everyone,

I have my interview on Friday at UMSL...i have to take some paper work with me that the school may ask for such as updated transcripts, and some recent research award certificates. Do you think that i can take a small expandable folder with me? i dont know if that would be appropriate i just cant come up with anythign else that i can take with me, i dont have a big enough bag to bring to put this stuff in..i knwo its a silly question but i heard that they dont like students to have anything on them while they are being interviewed. Also did anyone have anything with them such as a small notebook or anything like that?

thanks a lot for your help, dont mind the strange question, just want to get your advice.

good luck
:luck:

When I interviewed at Nova I had a flight to catch right afterwards so I brought all of my luggage with me, including a backpack. I also had a portolio with me but was debating as to whether or not I should bring it into the interview. But as soon as I arrived I recieved a portfolio from the school that contained financial aid, housing, and other info. in it.

So to answer your question, I don't think they will mind if you take in a portfolio, bag, folder, etc. You can always leave you bags with the person at the front desk. I'd imagine that people bring in portfolios with them into interviews all the time. Hope that helps.

I brought a folder with me when I went to my interview at PCO. When the interviewer asked if I had any questions, I took out my list of questions from my folder. She said that I seemed very organized. So based on my experience I think that it should be fine if you bring a folder to an interview. Two other students had folders on them as well.
