Can I expect more interviews?

Hey everyone.

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving

I have had one II and was wondering if I could expect to receive a few more? I have received radio silence from other DO schools...

I know there is nothing I can do at this point... but are chances for MD interviews essentially gone? I know its getting late in the cycle but is it reasonable to expect anything?

I was complete at all schools by end of August/Labor Day

You never know when interview day seats need to be filled. There isn't much you can do if you have already been placed at a certain priority level (which you would not know unless they told you that you were on an interview hold/waitlist). It wouldn't hurt to reach out to the schools near the top of your wishlist or that you feel you have a reasonable chance according to mission fit. Ask any current students or alumni that you have connected with prior to your application submission.

Also, if I am not mistaken, sometimes people cancel medical school interviews so it may create an unexpected spot come up.

FWIW, my last interview invite came in the last week of December the year I applied so there's still time but the further into December you go, the less likely you will get any more. Just as Saxappeal1 said, at this time of year interview spots usually open up when others cancel.

Yeah you're right. I think its also very school dependent

I was given an II very late (Feb) at a very good school on the east coast. I attended the interview the day before the last day of the end of their interview season and was WL. Got off the WL in June. It was my last interview for the season.
