so, I took my first FL today after pretty much done with all review except some bio left.

I got a 10 on Physical Science, 9 in Verbal and 11 in Biological for a 30.

I was wondering what can I do to improve score with MCAT scheduled for Sept. 10th?

btw i am totally surprised that i only got a 9 in verbal. i am consistently getting like 11s in my EK 101.

Thanks in advance!!!

ek101 is rly hard...so yea...lol idk why
PS is rly easy to improve, just start doing lots and lots of physics/chem problems, that will beat the content into ur head.
after i finished with Nova physics, i was able to pull 13s consistently on PS without any chem review...

30?! That's a really good start man!! I started with 30 on aamc 3 and only went up from there. You got a good score looking ahead of you. Keep taking FLs and save the AAMCs for last of course. Each FL you take is like a vaccine against the real MCAT.

Do ek101 tri4956 mentioned to get your verbal down. VR is all about focus and positive habits. If you mess up either of those two you lose your 10 in VR. For PS and BS I did the rest of EK in class lecture exams and I can't recommend them enough. They're a lot harder than passages from AAMC but very worth it if you have them.

Other than that, review your mistakes and see what weak areas you've got. On my first test I realized I made a ton of easy mistakes with PS and and also didnt get the right answers for BS and PS cuz I guessed on some of them assuming I had to know them, but it turned out to just be small details in the passage. Good luck:luck::luck::luck::luck:

i think it is very possible...aim as high as 45, study hard, be focus on the real test...then w/e score you get, u'll prob be happy with

Thanks guys. makes me feel good. Also, vaynatraubinator, whats the tri4956 method that you're talking about? lol
