Hi there, I am a first year nursing student who would like to pursue medical school after I earn my BSN. So far I have Chem 1 and Bio 1 that is required for the science classes from a community college and planning to take more science classes during the summer to finish up the pre-reqs. I would like to know if it's ok to take some more science classes at a community college b/c it's a lot cheaper than a university, or is it better to take it a univeristy? Thanks

Some of the top MEdical school frown upon it. BUt its ok for most schools. Sucessful stories before.

Depends on the school. Some schools frankly don't care and other schools explicitly say that community college courses as not acceptable.

Thank you for replying! hmmm i guess I should just take the science classes from the university I am attending now. (?) Does anyone know anything about Texas Women's University? Or any suggestion on which university in Dallas or Arlington Texas I should take my science courses at? Thanks in advance. 🙂
